Belize’s decades long territorial dispute with Guatemala rears it’s ugly head again, with a twist.

This most recent incursion was discovered last week, as several Guatemalans were arrested for illegally harvesting palm branches for Easter demand peak from a Belizean National Forrest Preserve. What really get’s this author roiled is that the man employing these men to illegally cut down our forest was himself a Belizean!
