Former PM Musa Cleared of Corruption Charges

The High Court in Belmopan has decided that former PM Musa is not guilty of stealing the people’s money. He is accused is of illegally using grant money from Venezuela slated for a housing project to pay off a government debt.

He claims that the case against him is politically motivated and was exuberant that he was cleared of all charges. He did admit that he should have been more transparent with usage of the Mr Chavez’s charity.
